Solid Gold Music Trivia Board Game

People sometimes ask me if I buy every retro item I run across for sale, and the answer is “no.” I find a lot of interesting things that make me laugh and smile that I don’t feel like I need to own. I guess I have a place in my heart for all of these things, but I don’t necessarily have a place in my home for them all. I do however take pictures of almost everything I find.

With that, I present to you the Solid Gold Music Trivia Board Game.

Based on a description of the game posted at BoardGameGeek.com, the Solid Gold Music Trivia game sounds like one of many generic Trivia Pursuit-style trivia games. BoardGameGeek.com gives the game 5 out of 10 stars, so I don’t feel like I missed out on a great find here.

My favorite part about this find was the blurb that said the game’s questions cover the roots of music all the way up to “today’s hits.” For a game released in 1984, I suppose that’s a relative claim

  1. Yeah, I think so. When I think of Solid Gold I think of the Madame puppet and (of course) the SOLID GOLD DANCERS!
