Space Ghost And…Batman?!

Good morning! Grab a bowl of your favorite cereal and join me as we watch this absolutely thrilling team-up featuring Space Ghost and Batman entitled “The Space Safari”.

This is of course from the sadly cancelled Cartoon Network series, Batman: Brave and the Bold. Gary Owens the original voice for Space Ghost returns to the character in this short, the last time he voiced the Cosmic Crusader was for the 1981 series!

  1. I love how Space Ghost is flying around and Batman is just there with no rhyme or reason. Brave and the Bold was a great cartoon – a nice break from the darkness of Nolan’s movies and Batman: The Animated Series.

  2. It really was a great show and I highly recommend it to anyone with a passing interest in DC Comics. I just loved that they always shined the spotlight on the B-list characters like the Doom Patrol, Metal Men, and Creature Commandos!

  3. Space Ghost is awesome. I’m not a fan of the talk show gimmick though. And I have to admit, Gary Owens’ voice is off. I know he’s older but it just doesn’t sound the same.

Batman BAB had three seasons. It was as campy as the comic it came from. It will be sadly missed. The world needs a Batman that doesn’t take himself to seriously. I mean really, I man running around fighting crime in tights. I’m a huge HUGE Batman fan. I’ll miss this. I loved the final episode with Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee) reprising Batmite… along with Ambush Bug.
