Darth Vader Meets Wolfman Jack on the Midnight Special

The Midnight Special was a great show and Wolfman Jack was a great narrator and occasional host. He was especially great when he had solid guest he could play off of and who is more solid than the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader? I am not sure who is playing Vader in this bit, but he is pretty tall. I was wondering if it was Prowse under there, but checking the IMDB confirms nothing. The back and forth is cheesy and very 1970s, by that, I mean it is magical.

This is awesome. I did an interview with Shadoe Stevens where he mentions they picked him to do the Midnight Special originally, and that he met Wolfman Jack. If you know where I could upload the audio to host it, let me know. In the Richard Pryor TV show, there is a Star Wars episode. Let me check the date. May the 4th be with you!

The guy under the mask is probably Kermit Eller. He worked for Don Post Studios, the mask company that made licensed Star Wars masks. Eller played Vader in promotional appearances in shopping malls in the 1970s, and on the Donny and Marie Show.
