Computer Animation, circa 1971

This promotional video shows off the capabilities of the early computer animation application Key Frame. It’s pretty jaw-dropping to see this done entirely with a graphical user interface (in 3D!) that early. Anyone familiar with Flash will recognize the process of creating key frames, then letting the software “tween” then animation that connects them.
