My Wife…well…to put it kindly, suggested that I mow the lawn today. Besides peeling eggs I truly cannot think of a task that I despise more in my life, but then I recalled this propaganda film that happened to be produced by the National Clean Up – Paint Up – Fix Up Bureau…which just so happened to be the major paint companies of the time, which stated that your house was more likely to survive an atomic strike if it was well kept and freshly painted. Wait, what?

Geez – we just had the house painted, but now they want me to clean up the interior clutter too? Are those action figures flammable? The things we do to nuclear-proof the house.
