I’m not sure…but I’m positive that I would love it if there were a series animated in this style!
I really hope that Kolchak movie happens.
Apparently Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) and Johnny Depp (Dark Shadows) have signed on for it…so keep your fingers crossed!
Between this and the news of a possible movie, it’s got me wanting to watch the show again.

But I’m glad they never made an animated cartoon of this.
Couldn’t bear the sight of a talking schnauzer sidekick tripping up werewolves as Kolchak fumbled for the silver bullets.
Jazzed about the movie prospects (Edgar Wright is a movie-maker deity), though Depp seems rather odd for the role.
They would’ve nailed the grizzled, veteran nature of Kolchak with someone like Bryan Cranston instead.
Still, I’m very curious to see what comes from all this.
