Using a Commodore PET

Today’s Photo of the Day was posted by one of its subjects, Danny Engesser. He is the lucky kid being instructed in the use of a Commodore PET back in 1982. This scene was being played out in schools across America as the time and is probably responsible for more then a few career choices by some very talented computer people.

  1. Sadly, that wasn’t the case for me. 1982 was the same year I used a computer at school, but today, I’m a manual laborer.. Oh well, fun nonetheless.

Bet that teacher had is fuzzy about this(“the book says type 50 end then return, next line type run, this better work…”)
