Revenge of the Nerds was one of the first movies I ever rented. (I think my family even had to rent the VCR itself!) Great topic for the podcast.
Great podcast topic! Now I need to watch the movie again!
Watch it afterwards with the commentary. A lot of great stuff on there.
I was way too young to see this movie. My sister was watching it in the living room on Showtime and I was supposed to be watching something else on the kitchen TV. So I kept it on Revenge of the Nerds and quickly changed it whenever she came into the room. I think I was too young to know what boobs really were, but I realized I liked them a lot that night.
I bet a lot of people had that sort of experience with this film when it ran on cable. I sure that has only contributed to the love people have for it.
Great fun.
I’ll have to check out that DVD.
Too bad I missed out on the scratch n’ sniff tie-in for the third Nerds TV movie.
It’s a great idea whose time has yet to come.
I wonder if they included the aroma card in the box set?
I love this movie. I thought I knew it like the back of my hand. I am a fan of three of the four Nerds movies (the last two mostly out of nostalgia for the first two).
However, again, Retroist, you drop some knowledge on me that I didn’t have. I had no idea there was a Fox Nerds series. I will have to track that down. AMAZING.
