  1. Badwolf says:

Their choice of episodes to include is absolutely lame. The only one with any merit is “The Inner Light” and what are they going to do to it for High Def?

    Honestly, guys.

  2. I am not sure what FX they will add to The Inner Light, which I agree is best of the disc, but I am excited to enjoy the show all over again with a new visual take.

When I get my copy, I will give you my two cents.

  3. This is an even weird release since it basically just a trap for fanboys like me who want a sneak peek. What can I say. I need me some HD Picard.

  4. CTD says:

man, they’ve got their work cut out for them. I re-watched the show on Netflix last year, and some of the FX are just dire, even in SD.

  5. CT says:

When this was announced, I was all gung-ho about getting it, but now I’m finding I’d rather just save my $15 for the eventual set of complete Blu-rays. Because, don’t tell my wife, but I am getting all of these on Blu-ray. The YouTube video has already convinced me of that.

  6. I received mine last night and did a little mini-marathon. With its improved pic on the big TV, I was impressed. The FX have a much more modern look. Cleaner and crisper — although still not jaw dropping. This is definitely a superior way to watch ST:TNG.

Now I am going to start lending my Blu-Ray copy out to people and try and get them just as excited as me.
