Before TRON made it glorious comeback, I hoped and dreamed of a day that Pixar would pick up the storied film and turn it into a franchise (they seemed like a natural fit). The Pixar version of TRON never happened, at least not yet. This is not quite what I had in mind when I saw the new TRON, but Retroist artist, Christopher Tupa has tickled my imagination with his re-imagining of Lightning McQueen From Cars as Clu from TRON.
Those neon lightning bolts and headlights are probably just stickers. ;)
