Lunchboxes: The Secret of NIMH vs. the ThunderCats

It’s cats vs. rats in today’s head to head lunchbox battle between The Secret of NIMH and the ThunderCats! First up — the rats!

Here we have Mrs. Brisby meeting the rats, with the magic amulet hanging above them. It’s a cool picture, but unless you’ve seen the movie you really don’t know what’s going on here.

On the backside you’ve got Mrs. Brisby hanging out at home with her kids. It’s a tough sell, this one. I’m a big fan of Don Bluth’s works, but you have to think the other guys in the lunchroom are going to snicker at this lunchbox.

This, on the other hand, should impress the dudes.

ThunderCats, ho! And just in case that’s not enough action for you …

… the other side has Mumm-Ra and Lion-O, who is holding the Sword of Omens. Even if you never watched this show as a kid, you have to think the other kids around you would be impressed with a sword-wielding humanoid cat about to attack a monstrous mummy.

So, what do you all think? Does Mrs. Brisby and her mob of mice win, or will the ThunderCats slice their way to the top? Only you can decide! Respond to this post and let us know which lunchbox deserves to win!

Well I guess it depends on if your group of dudes can get with you using a Secret of Nimh lunch box to catch the little red haired girl’s eye. They probably can’t :)

But I was into chicks in elementary school!

  2. I want to say Secret Of Nimh, I too love Don Bluth’s style of animation…but I would probably have to go with Thundercats on this one. :)

  3. I love Don Bluth too, but that lunchbox … on one side you have a bunch of mammals scared of a necklace, and the other side looks like all the mice from Cinderella.
