You don’t get to see a tremendous amount of outtakes from this era of Hollywood. I am glad these flubbed scenes survived.

I actually picked up this movie on DVD just the other day and it has an absolutely fantastic commentary track by Gregory W. Mank.
For example some of the things I learned was that Lon Chaney Jr. hated this movie, not the making of it…well…not all of it, but he was upset that Abbot and Costello made fools of the Universal Monsters. Another interesting fact was that the legendary Bela Lugosi almost didn’t get the part of Dracula…because the film makers thought he was already dead. Ouch.
WOW! That’s great! Would like to see more of these.
Svengoolie played Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein last Saturday on MEtv. It was a fun movie and one of Abbott and Costello’s best.
