With chocolate soon to be a big part of everyone’s holiday, why not take a look at how the stuff is made at the Hershey’s Factory Tour.

I’ve been through this tour. It was great! I was a little disappointed in the striking lack of Oompa Loompas but it’s probably one of the greatest smelling tours that mankind has ever constructed.
I want to go! I’m a chocoholic…it’s no Willy Wonka, though.
Just as I imagined it. Right down to the singing cows.
The PBC count is woefully low, though.
I’ll have to start hoarding.
My mother said that back in the day they had tours of the actual factory. The “fake” factory is probably more entertaining, though.
They always had the smell of chocolate wafting through the air. I seem to remember at the beginning of the ride a little model of coco beans being harvested in South America. There was the little South American farmer pulling a stubborn mule … priceless. Maybe they removed this in favor of the singing cows.
Haven’t been to Hersey Park in a while. I wonder if they still give out cookies after the ride?
