Daredevil the Musical Starring Willem DaFoe

Not as big a huge financial success, but critically acclaimed, Daredevil the Musical had to close early due to financial problems. Some say the shadowy Kingpin may have been behind the closing.

No. As I said before, I appreciate the time effort you go to for these…whatever you want to call them, but they’re just not funny. This is a retro site. Which means REAL 70s/80s/90s tv shows, movies, cartoons, toys, etc.

  2. Another fantastic job, Sean! I’m not sure if the Kingpin is behind it all…no man could say…but I’m thinking that if you open your play in Hell’s Kitchen, you are just asking for trouble! ;)

Its all in good fun, Mr. Stillwell. The yellow/red/black suited daredevil is about as retro as you can get, and how many classic Playbills have you ever seen with similar designs? My work is steeped in classic design, its far superior to designs of the 90’s/today, and things like this Daredevil Playbill come from an overflow of appreciation for certain eras design ethics. I hope you can see my point of view as a creator wanting to pay homage to the things of the past that I love in my own unique way.
Thanks Vic! The Kingpin organized a riot the night of the play’s opening, police hd to beat back the crowd with hoses and dogs.
