Illustrator Andrew Kolb re-imagines David Bowie’s song “Space Oddity” as a Children’s Book.

I love how people’s minds work. Illustrator Andrew Kolb got a brilliant idea after listening to David Bowie’s Space Oddity. He thought, “this would be great as a children’s book!” and he got to work.

He has now finished the book and placed it online for all to enjoy (and hopefully it will help land it in print). There is an important life lesson in having to deal with certain astronautical doom, so teach your kid’s that lesson early and often. Download the PDF of the book here.

Love the cover art style – unfortunately the link was dead by the time I got there. The attorneys sure moved fast on that one!
