Apropos of nothing, other than it’s a bit old-timey, here’s a link to some stereoviews and anaglyphs I made.
With stereoviews, you can lean back from the screen and do the Magic Eye thing. For the anaglyphs, you’ll need the red/cyan glasses you use for old 3D movies or comic books.
Do any of dabble in this, or collect old stereoview cards?
Oh man…Dungeon Keeper 2. Yes!
What is your favorite segment from Night Gallery?
Hands down without a doubt, my favorite is They’re Tearing Down Tim Riley’s Bar. I’m positive that parts of how Randy Lane(William Windom) is feeling at his job are 100% what Rod Serling was feeling in his own work. Of course like Walking Distance (One of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes) we know through his masterful writing that Rod Serling constantly played with the themes of going back “home”.
Rod Serling used his own home address in Binghamton in the episode by the way. :)
What Technology Surprised You the Most?
I think the 3D printers they have these days, even though not fully integrated into society yet like GPS and Cellphones are, is simply amazing. A printer that can print a 3-D model of your idea – crazyness.
@aas…I agree, having theme weeks exposed you to things you may have never discovered. This was one of the good things about the limited options pre-cable.
