Retroist Game Room Challenge Returns!

After a small break from the glory days of the arcade, we have returned with the 9th Game Room Challenge for the Xbox Live Game Room…a committee was put together and after two months of exhaustive research…a crate of Nacho Flavored Doritios…and 2,345 cans of Pepsi Throwback the game has been chosen for all you skilled video warriors to test your mettle against.

Activision’s classic cowboy simulator, Stampede.

The rules are still simple, just make sure I have your Xbox Live gamertag, you may either post it here or send me a friend request, my gamertag is Unicron2005. Make sure you have the game available in your own Game Room arcade and when I send you the challenge you will have 7 days to try and claim the High-Score crown bragging rights. We do have one minor change thanks to Rich over at C.A.D.E.R.S on Facebook, instead of merely three tries you will be allowed unlimited chances to nab the High-Score and of course the 1600 Microsoft Points Card!

Hey Vic, good luck with the Game Room challenges. I hope some of the CADERS folks join in here who haven’t. Also, if you can, please send people who want to do other stuff on XBox Live, of a retro nature, the CADERS way. CADERS is doing Pinball FX2, and stuff like Contra and Super Contra (Pinball FX2 is one set of tournaments, the other stuff on XBox Live Arcade is part of King of CADERS). Figured best to leave the Game Room stuff to Retroist.
