Retro Energy Drinks

So let’s say you’ve got a pocket full of quarters and you’re headed to the arcade. If you have Pac-Man Fever (and it’s driving you crazy), perhaps chugging one of these Pac-Man Energy Drinks will help.

I spotted these over the weekend at Candyopolis, the candy store in our local mall. One can will set you back approximately $2, or eight rounds of Pac-Man at your mall’s arcade. That is, if your mall still has an arcade. Each can contains 110 calories and tastes like (what else) cherries.

Now that I think about it, there are lots of characters from the 80s that could use energy drinks — like the Ghostbusters, for example. Between those hot-looking jump suits and those heavy photon packs, what Ghostbuster couldn’t use a big, refreshing can of … Ectoplasm?

Repeat after me, kids: “I ain’t ‘fraid of no energy drink!”

  1. That is my kind of chain store. Wish I had one in my area. I went to a couple of locations that sell beverages last night and did a quick scan for these, I came up with nothing.
