I will often pass the morning tuned to the radio station KCEA, where they play music mostly from the 1930s and 1940s. This morning they played some Lord Invader. Lord Invader (Rupert Westmore Grant) was a prominent Calypso artist who is probably most famous for a song that was stolen from him, the hit Rum and Coca-Cola. While I enjoy the Andrews Sisters version of the song, Lord Invader’s version has a lot more personality.
