Z-Machine Wednesday: Infocom Advertisements

A huge thanks to Get Lamp documentary director, Jason Scott, for these two classic Infocom ads from his Flickr site!

Clever ads that represented Infocom very well. From their advertising, to the game box inserts, to the games themselves, Infocom provided classy, intelligent entertainment. I always wonder if the company had stuck to producing games, rather than diverting into database offerings, if they’d still be around today.
