Flawed 1976 Star Trek Party Plates

Okay this is exactly the type of party plates that I would have died to have as a kid. It is only as an adult that I could enjoy the flaws. Besides the very obvious typo on the saucer of the Enterprise..why is Spock in a red shirt??? Do they know what this means? I don’t want to live in a universe or eat cake off a universe where Spock is a red shirt.

Yet it is fine on the Nacelle? That is good lazy....

  1. Hahah, too true! Those are some sweet plates, makes me want to throw a party right now!
I guess since they printed it in only four colors they didn’t really have any other option for Spock and Bone’s shirt. Either black, blue, yellow or red and since Kirk is yellow and their pants are blue… although they could have made their pants black and wearing blue shirts…be neat to try that in photshop and see how it’d look…

That plate is so cool I’d almost feel bad tarnishing it with cake. Almost.

At least they don’t have flames coming out of the nacelles as they often did on stuff like that back then.

Sigh. Why must you assume that every vulcan on a Star Trek plate is Spock? Maybe it is Spock’s brother -in-law Engineer Spron, who was included in the away team</strike) landing party to be killed by a brain worm. Also, I just noticed that Bones has the wrong shirt also.
