Do you Remember VideoSmarts?

Videosmarts was a 4-button computer that connected to your VCR and television. It was designed to be used in conjunction with special VHS cassettes which guided kids through learning sessions about things like letters, numbers, safety, nutrition, and the human body.

  1. Oh my god. YES. I’ve been subscribing to this blog for a while now just because I like reading about older pop culture stuff but this is the first product that I totally had, made frequent use of, had subsequently forgotten, and remembered completely after watching this video. Awesome.

    I know this is an old thread but I just came across it. My daughter (now 23) and I were just talking about VideoSmarts. When Kris was 3 she was the target of an attempted abduction in Toys R Us and this games “Stranger Danger” tape saved our lives.
