Nothing will Stop the Dark Knight from bringing you Batman Cereal

Back when Batmania hit the world in 1989, a cereal was released to tie in with the movie. The cereal was pretty tasty but was really the premiums that were wonderful! You could get free comics, a glow in the dark frisbee, a hologram t-shirt and a bank. Not bad for a tie-in cereal, plus that black box really stood out on the cereal aisle.

  1. I *loved* Batman cereal. I remember getting a few Batman piggy banks with some boxes (which I still have, the bank, not the box). And I even sent in UPCs to get the glow-in-the-dark Batman frisbee. It was awesome…until I lost it at the beach. I’m sure it sits somewhere at the bottom of Lake Erie still today.
