The Monchichis in “Swamp Secret”

Monchhichis was an American cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera based on the Monchhichi popular toy line by Sekiguchi. It ran for one short season in the United States on ABC starting September 10, 1983. This seems like a prime show for an on-demand release from someone like the Warner Archive, but not we need to be content with what we can find online and the one episodes that was included in Saturday Morning Cartoons: 1980s, Vol. 1.

Here is one of those rare online episodes in 3 parts. It is called “Swamp Secret”.

  1. Chris says:

Do you feel the print on demand is the best way for some shorter runs to get released or would a digital only like iTunes release get more exposure?

  2. Personally I would take either, I would probably more likely buy it from Amazon in digital format if it was available, but I think both media fill a niche. Some people still just like owning the physical media for now.

The clock is running down on physical media though..tick tock.
