Rubik’s Cube for the Blind

My first thought, when I saw this cube, was why not keep the colors? Then anyone could use it. Perhaps it was just to make it stand out more?

On my old cube, the colors were stickers. Presumably the stickers would interfere with the bumps.

I like the stark austerity of a pure white cube. Perhaps the lack of colors is also meant to invoke what is felt by a blind person encountering a non-Braille Rubik’s cube (which is also not designed for everyone)?
