Want To Play Star Castle On The Atari 2600?

While awaiting the next episode of The Walking Dead I happened to stumble upon this YouTube video by chilledbroccoli that has a brief interview with D. Scott Williamson, a fan of the Atari 2600 who didn’t agree with Yar’s Revenge creator, Howard Scott Warshaw, when in interviews stated it would be impossible to port the classic Star Castle to the 2600 home system.

    I spent $25 in quarters on Star Castle over the course of two days in 1985. It was the 10 year old me’s equivalent of a “lost weekend”.

    Yeah, the action does seem smoother than previously seen on the system.
    Wonder if the ROM will make its way into the wild?

  3. Let’s hope so, friends. Since it seems I’m too far away from some of these awesome shows I’ve read about on the forums in the past, if anyone happens to be at one and can snap some photos, please share it with the rest of us. :)
