Minimalist Back to the Future Posters

I love the design on these minimalist posters for Back to the Future. I know movie posters usually don’t run go the “clever” route often, but I wish they would. Maybe if they do a full re-release someday.

  1. Help me understand, because I don’t get it.
Part 1: Starts in 1985, goes to 1955 then back to 1985.
Part 2: Starts in 1985, goes to 2015, then to 1955.
Part 3: Starts in 1955, then goes to 1885, then to 1985.
Not sure how those lines and dots relate that..

  2. Rick says:

The dot at the bottom represents the alternate 1985 in part 2. The first dot is 1885, the second is 1955 the third is 1985 and the forth is 2015. So the first is showing going from 1985 to 1955 and back. the second is showing going from 1985 to 2015 to the alertnate 1985 to 1955. And the third is showing going from 1955 to 1885 to 1985. Hope I helped explain

  3. Very good Rick. I was just testing you… Actually, I was looking at the dots from left to right 2015 to 1885. Maybe if I didn’t have it backwards, I would have gotten it. Maybe.
