Starmaster looks so simple now, but when I first played it on my Atari 2600, I thought it was one of the more immersive games I played at the time. I actually felt like I was in a starship and now you can as well, with this handy dandy Atari 2600 Starmaster wallpaper.

Starmaster was about as perfect a space combatant experience one could have, back in the day.
And dare I say, even today.
Woo hoo! I love me some Starmaster. The first game I played where I truly felt in command of my own starship with various functioning systems. A great game to this day, and one truly deserving of a good wallpaper. Thanks!
I just picked up a nice boxed Starmaster at the Portland Gaming Expo for $2 and hope to get time to try it soon. I thoroughly enjoyed star Raiders back in the day, so I assume this will be a similar experience…. Morgan
@Morgan – $2?!!! That could very well be the deal of a lifetime! Hope you enjoy it! I loved Starmaster so much that it I considered their inability to play it a severe knock against the Intellivision and Coleco adapters for the 2600. (Since it needed the Black & White / Color switch to activate the map).
@mwentworth Did you take any photos while you were there, friend?
