Shakey’s is an old school pizza chain in California that I somehow managed not to try the whole time I lived out there. Thanks to BinsentoSan for schooling me on them.

I need to get there next time I fly out. I mean I love Ragtime themed pizza places
They might have okay pizza, but they also offer a lunch buffet that I’d recommend avoiding. My wife and I went years ago, and we still joke about how it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Maybe it was just that one location. They were out of pizza at the time – odd for a pizza restaurant.
Perhaps, Vinvectrex, but did you get one of those awesome frisbees? Of course in my neck of the woods we never had a Shakey’s, too bad because I think eating pizza with singing bears would be awesome!
I can honestly say that if they gave me a frisbee, I totally would have forgiven them for the lousy meal. It’s an open offer – if they send me a frisbee now, I’ll retract my statements. Also, they were lacking bears and anything ragtime related when I visited. Pizza with either frisbee or bears would indeed be excellent!
