I thought, no way would this concept work out well, but this clip from a “silent movie’d” version of Empire Strikes Back is actually pretty powerful. Something about the graininess and pacing that really works well. I would like to see more scenes converted over and I can’t help but think that “Raider of the Lost Ark” would make a wonderful candidate for this treatment.

Awesome find, the piano accompaniment was done very well, especially at the 1.23 mark. I wonder if Raiders of the Lost Ark would be better suited for just black and white instead of the silent treatment though. :)
Your can destroy the emperor? Your? I think the creator of this should´ve hit spellcheck before posting this!
Two things: I’d love to watch the entire movie like this and, second, I’d love even more to take the whole thing back to a 1920s audience and show it and blow their black and white minds with the awesomeness that is Star Wars:ESB.
I would like to see a re issue of the original figures but not jazzed up in any way but just the way they were first issued.
