I have posted quite a few videos from the “How to Beat Video Games” series. I think I have seen everything in video from this series, but what I never seen is an advertisement related to the tapes. Then this morning, I open my Inbox and bam, something new! The style of the ad is pretty simple with the Tron-style grid in the background and the cartridge style box art taking up most of the top and center. This ad says to me, “Hey, we don’t got a lot of money, but we sure would like yours and since you have no idea what to get that weird kid in your life who loves video games, why not give him a video tape”.
