I’m pretty sure that at some point in this film…I will be getting misty-eyed. Now for the geek stuff I’ve noticed:
1) At the 17 second mark against the shelf you can see the handheld game that Flynn was playing at Flynn’s when he was talking to Alan and Lora.
2) Between 17 and 18 on the far right you can just barely catch V.I.N.C.E.N.T. from the Black Hole.
3) The Black Hole is the next movie that Joseph Kosinski is attached to direct.
4) At the 49 second mark you can see the notebook designs for the Tron arcade game.
5) At the 57 mark, Sam says almost the same thing as his father did when he was digitized.
Um, if anyone else catches anything please let me know. :)
Spectacular! I’m growing increasingly confident that they didn’t screw this up. Now I’m off to place mself in a cryogenic freeze for the next few months. Wake me in December!
