Flying Purple People Eater Novelty Figure

I used to run around singing Flying Purple People Eater like a mad child whenever I heard it as a kid. So I guess you could say I was a big fan of the song. I had NEVER seen a 3D representations until I spotted this piece of joy over at Hake’s this morning. This is not at all how I pictured the monster, but now that I have seen it, I must admit it is perfect.

According to Hake’s:
7″ tall purple figure based on the 1958 record and from the same time period. Figure is made out of styrofoam balls and pipe cleaners including wings and horn on head along w/single bw movable eye and a red metallic belly button sticker accent. Magnet under body for dashboard or other such use. N. Mint.
