You’re really on a roll lately nailing topics of particular interest to me. I’m particularly eager to hear this one since I know how you drop in some truly obscure trivia that even surprises a nerd like me sometimes.

I completely forgot about this show. I remember watching it quite a bit. I recall it having really good animation by Saturday morning standards.

I think that was the same reason I used to watch Winnie the Pooh around that same era.

  3. OffisaPups says:

For over 20 years I have had that theme song stuck in my head and can still to this day sing it on demand. I love the Japanese version of the opening song. I would kill to get a transaltion of the Japanese version, just to see the “creative” choices made to make it work musicaly in Japanese.

This was another great episode. Do you remember the gummi berry juice song from one of the episodes? That would be great to hear again.

  5. Dar says:

I loved the show bacn then in the 80′s.

But let’s be honest, the show was nothign but a shameful rip-off of “Smurfs” and “Asterix the Gaul”.

In a way, the show was the start trend by Disney’s tv cartoons division of ripping off other network shows (“American Dragon”, “Gargoyls”, “Phineas and Ferb”).
