I recently became re-addicted to Tab, the first popular diet cola drink. Did you know they even still made Tab? Made by Coke, Diet Coke has pretty much blown it out of the fizzy, brown, too-sweet water since it was introduced in 1982, but Tab still has a hardcore fanbase that keeps it in production. (Less than 1 percent of all soda sold today is Tab.)

It still amazes me when I see Tab at the store. The cans still look pretty much the same as they did 30 years ago. Fresca is still out there too. But what ever happened to New Coke?
OMGWTF?! “Be a mind-sticker” just sounds to me like something from a low budget horror flick! I think I remember when Tab came out, but I’ve never seen this ad. I do remember Fresca’s debut, though (mid-70′s?).
