Delbert the La Choy Dragon appeared in TV commercials for La Choy from 1965 to 1967. He was played by Frank Oz in one of his rare full body Muppet performances. Oz was not a fan of the full body suit. A hand controlled version would be used in later spots and a new Muppet, Mert, would be introduced as a foil for Delbert.
