Ghosts-N-Goblins in 3D

Designer and illustrator Metin Seven has lots of great pieces on his website “Seven’s Heaven”. One of my favorite is this piece from his “Inside Video Games series” that shows what “Ghosts-N-Goblins” would look like if you could see the entire game instead of just the familiar 2D parts.

According to Seven:

So you thought you used to play 2D games. If you had taken a look behind the screen, then you’d have seen this. The featured game is Ghosts and Goblins [Makaimura] from Capcom, a classic 8-bit video game for the arcades, released in 1985.

We are making a demo version of Ghost and Goblin in 3d just for fun and to learn Unity3d. For now it’s just an alpha version but stay tuned…
