Matthew Perry’s Second Second Chance

Did you see that Zac Efron movie 17 Again? Well, if you aren’t a 13-year-old girl, the plot is about a guy, played by Matthew Perry, who gets to go back in time and counsel his teenage self against making bad decisions. It is the same plot as one of Perry’s first acting gigs, a 1987 sitcom (part of Fox’s first lineup) called Second Change. He played the teenager that time – Chazz Russell, counseled against making bad decisions by his middle-aged self, who gets to come back to birth in the 1987 after dying of a freak hovercraft accident in 2011.
