“Alexander, The Man Who Knows” Poster from Hake’s

The walls of my office are filled with drawings and posters that help me get through the day. I feel uninspired? I just take a look around and usually something will catch my fancy and allow me to get back to work. One thing I have always wanted, but have yet to pick up, is a cool retro magician poster. This “Alexander, The Man Who Knows” one from Hake’s certainly fits what I am looking for. Retro with a slightly creepy vibe, it is both large and impressive at 28×42.5.

“The poster for stage magician Alexander, The Man Who Knows. c. 1915-1924 poster features large bw portrait image of a turban-clad Alexander with “Alexander” name at top and “The Man Who Knows” tag line at bottom. Poster has been linen-mounted and appears to never have been rolled or folded. N. Mint display. Wonderful graphics. A must for magic fans.”

1915-1924. He was only nine years old?! That IS creepy!

I didn’t “know all” until I was at least 25!

Are you still looking for this Poster? I have a framed one that has some flood damage. I bet if you took it to a poster shop they could fix it. I am in Southern California.
