The “Making of Star Trek the Motion Picture” Featurette

I just saw this for the first time this week and as a fan of the original Star Trek film, I have to say this is a real treat. It is filled with explanations of the special effects and shot setups as well as showing some “fun” behind the scene footage. Persis Khambatta looks really upset when they shave her head and they spend a lot of time filming the shaving. :(

Very neat! Like the little details, like the tiny mirrors they used to reflect light onto the Enterprise
