Best NES Sports Game
“Many people were fans of the great Blades of Steel. Super fun action and back then I thought the graphic for the shoot out mode were the best. Not to mention you had a free demo game during the intermission!
Ahhh Ice Hockey, nothing like like a 5 man team of giant fat guys bulldozing thier way for a goal.
BTW, I was speaking to my retro gamer buddy about this and he reminded me of a game that made me change my list. I had completely forgotten about Mike Tyson’s Punchout. Did not think of it as a sports game but it is and man, it was the best. Oh the dreams I have of star punching Mike into next week. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go don my pink sweat suit and run around New York.”
