Superman has always been larger then life, especially when he was a balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Here is a classic photo of the Kryptonian as he is marched down the avenue.

He looks like he just stuffed himself at some enormous (inflatable) Thanksgiving table with all the other balloons, and has a case of indigestion. Where are those Tums when you need them? No pockets in the leotard, I guess.
