One of my favorite short lived shows was the Stephen Collin’s vehicle, “Tales of the Gold Monkey”. I am also a fan of the adventures movies and serials of the 1930s, so it was no surprise to me that I would like it. This ad, while showing elements of 80s print design sensibilities, still seemed to me to have a 1930s/1940s vibe.
