Joe Namath for Beautymist

Long before Joe Namath tried to drunkenly kiss women, he dressed like them. In 1974, shortly after the height of his pretty boy all-star days as the Super Bowl win-guaranteeing quarterback of the New York Jets, Namath boldly did this advertisement for Beautymist Panty Hose, in which he wears a pair of pantyhose and shows off his killer, ladylike gams. (Though Namath claims in the ad he doesn’t normally wear pantyhose, many football players do and did – it keeps their legs warm.)
