1977 Halloween Safety Educational Film

This 1977 masterpiece from Centron is to me, the best Halloween Safety Film ever made. I enjoy the timing, the art style, the music, everything. I read this was filmed in Lawrence, Kansas, but you will notice that the adivisor for the film was from Tom’s River, NJ. Go NJ!! Now remember, be safe this Halloween season.

  1. omg this one is a gem. Toms River! lol

  2. As pointed out previously (http://www.retroist.com/2009/10/28/halloween-greetings-the-ol-deep-south/), a white witch costume looks suspiciously like Ku Klux Klan garb. So if she plans on trick-or-treating in Compton or Harlem it’s not going to do a lot for her safety.

The other thing I found interesting is when the trick-or-treaters tell their jokes they look absolutely terrified! (And considering the material they have to work with who can blame them.)
