Its a cake of Cthulhu! From the sweet depths of a frosting ocean he rises and my cake eating life was never the same. The cake was made by Clever Cake Studios and if you dared bit into the cake here is what you would get:
The base was cherry-chip cake, the island and tower a mix of cherry chip and yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Also used small chocolate ‘pearls’ as rocks. Cthulhu himself is all fondant, with two chocolate pearls that I seeped in red dye for eyes.

I love his skin, the detail is amazing and very organic looking, which can be hard to achieve and results in most looking to shiny or too dull.
