G.I. Joe – A Real American Hero on Videocassette

Not sure why, but it seems that by owning a $40 copy (yeah $40 for one tape) of G.I. Joe – A Real American Hero, you can help G.I. Joe lick Cobra. This is one of those ads that confused me as a kid. It clearly say, Send Away for your free Poster, but it doesn’t say how or why? I have an address, but am I supposed to send an envelope? Who covers shipping? I never did get my poster.

Another thing, I always knew Duke and Scarlett were sellouts, but Gung-Ho? I always thought he was better then that.

$39.95!? That’s not even “affordably priced” at today’s standards.

Holy cow! I glossed over the “affordably priced at $39.95″ line. There’s nothing like milking the cash cow when your property is hot!
