I remember watching this show and thinking it a Saved by the Bell clone. After watching this trailer, I am convinced it may have been the greatest show ever made.

I remember watching some episodes of California Dreams. I was always in awe that someone actually managed to create a *dumbed-down* version of Saved by the Bell.
