Today in 1970, Inventor Ralph Baer demonstrates his video game system to engineers at Magnavox.

Two years later Magnavox Odyssey is released.

…and here is the awesome looking Odyssey 2 from 1978.

    This isn’t an Odyssey but an Odyssey II which came out in ’78.

    I had this and the first one and I swear the only game we had for it was the legend of zelda think I will go dig it out of the old cubby hole.

    I had this system. It was so cool. I had KC Munkchin (The Pac Man copy that was short lived when Atari sued), baseball, something with a big dragon, that my have been Zelda. Ahh, that games would be so easy to control again! LOL The Intellivision confused me with all the buttons on the paddles.
