In 1979 Disneyland was celebrating their 25th birthday and sears was joining the fun. This was the year that Disneyland opened Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Sears was willing to send a family of 4 to the happiest place on earth for the weekend. Not only do you fly to L.A. via BRANIFF (BRANIFF!), but you stay at the very seventies looking Quality Inn/Anaheim…the most comfortable place under the sun.
